بغداد اليوم – ديالى دعا عضو مجلس محافظة ديالى، رعد التميمي، اليوم الجمعة، ( 3 حزيران 2026 )، إلى إعادة فتح ملف ما يُعرف بـ”سرقة القرن” في المحافظة، فيما أشار إلى أن إجمالي الأموال المختلسة يصل إلى نحو 40 مليار دينار. وقال التميمي لـ"بغداد اليوم"، إن “أموال التعويضات المخصصة للعوائل المهجرة والمدمرة منازلهم في ديالى تُعد من الملفات الساخنة التي ندعو رئيس الوزراء الحالي إلى إعادة فتحها، وبيان مصير نحو 40 مليار دينار جرى اختلاسها”. وأضاف أن “هذه الأموال مخصصة للعوائل المهجرة والمتضررة، وهناك آلاف الأسر ما تزال تنتظر منذ سنوات طويلة الحصول عليها للعودة إلى مناطقها، إلا أن شبكات الفساد تسببت باختلاسها”، مشيراً إلى أن “ديالى بحاجة إلى عملية واسعة لفتح ملفات الفساد المالي، ولاسيما ما يُعرف بـ"سرقة القرن’”. وأكد التميمي أن “استمرار التحقيقات قد يكشف عن حجم أكبر من الأموال المختلسة”، لافتاً إلى أن “تلك الأموال هي أموال الفقراء والمهجرين والنازحين، ما يستدعي متابعة جادة من قبل الحكومة المركزية لضمان استعادتها ومحاسبة المتورطين”. و"سرقة القرن في ديالى" هي قضية اختلاس كبرى طالت مبالغ التعويضات والأموال العامة في ديوان محافظة ديالى، حيث ارتفعت قيمة الأموال المسروقة لتصل إلى نحو 40 مليار دينار. وتشبه هذه القضية في أسلوبها "سرقة القرن" الشهيرة الخاصة بالأمانات الضريبية في العراق، وقد تورط فيها موظفون ومسؤولون داخل الإدارة المحلية للمحافظة.
