بغداد اليوم - بغداد أعلنت قيادة شرطة بغداد الرصافة، اليوم الاثنين (28 أيلول 2026)، إلقاء القبض على متهمين اثنين بقتل أحد منتسبي جهاز المخابرات الوطني بعد متابعة ميدانية واستخبارية دقيقة. وذكرت القيادة في بيان تلقته "بغداد اليوم"، أنه "بناءً على توجيهات قائد شرطة بغداد الرصافة اللواء شعلان علي صالح، تم تشكيل فريق عمل لمتابعة القضية، وإجراء التحريات وجمع المعلومات وتتبع تحركات المتهمين واتصالاتهما". وأضاف البيان أن "المفارز الأمنية تمكنت من تتبع مسار المتهمين وتنقلاتهم، ورصد اتصالاتهما مع ذويهما، وصولاً إلى ورود معلومات دقيقة عن عودتهما من خارج البلاد، حيث تم نصب كمين محكم وتحديد مكان وجودهما والقبض عليهما فور وصولهما إلى مطار بغداد الدولي"، مشيرةً إلى "إيداعهما التوقيف واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهما أصولياً".

بغداد اليوم - بغداد طالب عضو اللجنة القانونية النيابية، النائب محمد جاسم الخفاجي، اليوم الاثنين (28 أيلول 2026)، رئيس مجلس الوزراء بإعفاء رئيس الهيئة العليا للحج والعمرة من منصبه، وذلك على خلفية مشاكل القرعة وأزمة كبار السن. وطبقاً لوثيقة رسمية مذيلة بتوقيع الخفاجي وحصلت عليها "بغداد اليوم"، فإن المطالبة جاءت استناداً للأحكام الدستورية والقانونية، ونظراً لمضي أكثر من سبع سنوات على توليه المنصب بين الأصالة والوكالة، إلى جانب وجود مشاكل كبيرة ومظالم طالت المواطنين. وأشارت الوثيقة إلى وجود "مجاملات كارثية بمنح مقاعد الحج لغير مستحقيها من المسؤولين الحكوميين وغيرهم"، داعية رئيس الوزراء إلى إرسال طلب الإعفاء لمجلس الوزراء لغرض الموافقة عليه وترشيح شخصية نزيهة كفوءة لإدارة الهيئة وفقاً للقانون.
