بغداد اليوم - الأنبار رغم الأنباء المتداولة عن تشغيل محطة عكاز الغازية، لا تزال مدينة القائم في محافظة الأنبار تعيش ظلامًا شبه كامل، مع استمرار انقطاع التيار الكهربائي عن جميع أحيائها لليوم الثالث على التوالي، وسط موجة حر خانقة دفعت الأهالي إلى استخدام سياراتهم كمأوى لأطفالهم خوفًا من تعرضهم لمضاعفات صحية قد تهدد حياتهم. وأفاد مواطنون عبر بريد "بغداد اليوم" بأن أغلب العائلات التي تمتلك سيارات اضطرت إلى تشغيلها لساعات طويلة ليتمكن الأطفال وكبار السن من النوم داخلها والاستفادة من أجهزة التكييف، في ظل انعدام الكهرباء وارتفاع درجات الحرارة إلى مستويات قياسية. وتساءل الأهالي عن جدوى الحديث المتكرر بشأن تشغيل محطة عكاز، في وقت لا تزال فيه أحياء القائم بأكملها محرومة من الكهرباء، مؤكدين أن القضاء يمتلك إمكانات كبيرة، بينها محطة عكاز الغازية ومحطة تحويل بقدرة 400 KV ومع ذلك يعاني سكانه من ساعات انقطاع طويلة، فيما تُحوَّل الطاقة إلى مناطق أخرى على حساب معاناتهم، بحسب تعبيرهم. وأكد المواطنون أن ما يعيشونه يثير تساؤلات حول أسباب استمرار أزمة الكهرباء في القضاء، وكأنه خارج خارطة الخدمات، مطالبين الجهات الحكومية ووزارة الكهرباء بوضع حد لمعاناتهم، والالتزام بالوعود التي أُطلقت سابقًا بشأن تحسين واقع الطاقة، وفي مقدمتها مشروع عكاز الذي تحول، بحسب وصفهم، إلى "حلم مؤجل". وشدد أهالي القائم على أن مطالبهم لا تتجاوز حقهم الطبيعي بالحصول على تجهيز عادل ومستقر بالكهرباء، وإيقاف أي إجراءات تؤدي إلى تقليل حصتهم من الطاقة، بما يضمن حياة كريمة للسكان في واحدة من أهم مناطق محافظة الأنبار.
